One of my favourite parts about my trip away to Vegas was Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. I had never been before so it was on the must do list for sure. I have heard so many fun and goofy stories about this place and well the chance to get my photo taken with Jenna Jameson and Hef was something I just had to do. Granted it’s only the wax resemblance of them but what the heck beats nothing I’ll work on the real thing next

I was rather shocked by just how many wax figures where in the museum. I was expecting like maybe 50 or something but nope there is seriously like close to a 100 wax figures. I made sure to take pictures with every single one not sure when I would get a chance to do this again so I figured I might as well make the most of my $25 admission fee.

So here is the high light reel cause obviously I am not going to post 100 pictures in one blog post today lol. yep it was a rather eventful walk through a museum, I mean come on I got topless at the wax museum. More than once too! who else can say that? hmm who? lol

I’ve been promising to do a blog complete with a butt load of candids from my Las Vegas trip and well here we are a little late but better than never.

Well I did it I had my fun filled girls weekend complete with wax figures, big lights and loud music. Wamber and I did what any single girls would want to do for a weekend of fun filled partying and shopping…. we went to Las Vegas baby

We had so much fun:) like an ungodly amount lol. We stayed at Treasure Island which was a really nice hotel and we got a bunch of little extras just cause we stayed there. Things like free buffet tickets, two for one drink coupons, two for one dinners at the local restaurant that was there, two for one buffet tickets….. yes yes we did eat at the buffet more than a few times lol We might have even brought big purses and filled them with yummy treats for later yep we are just that awesome!

We spent about 5 days and 4 nights in the beautiful city of Las Vegas. We did everything we could think of, literally. We flew in on the Friday night and just took it easy the first night considering we left my house for the air port around 10 am and we didn’t get into Vegas till about 5. We did the buffet for dinner since it was free and we both didn’t really get a chance to grab anything to eat when we switched planes in Salt Lake City so yah we were ready to eat everything and any thing we could get our hands on. Lucky for us is was a holiday weekend (thanksgiving to be precise) so the line up for the buffet was like 45 mins log yes we waited and yes we were ready to shoot someone by the time we got food A oh so yummy strawberry mango margarita made it all better though lol. Afterwards we just chilled in the room and relaxed.

Saturday was a day of adventure we rented a car and took off to go shopping at the outlets. We hit the ones out by the California boarder and shopped till we dropped for sure. We must of gone to every store they had and well we had a full trunk when we left. Wamber was a little afraid to drive in Vegas at first and to tell you the truth I don’t blame her. The people who drive in Vegas are crazy! But we just took our time and followed the GPS we rented and we made it with no major complaints or accidents ayayy But I will say Garmin failed us hard core lol when we first pulled out of the parking garage at TI all it told us and showed us was the road it wanted us to be on highlighted in red then it instructs us to go to highlighted road…… no directions how to get there, no turn left now or turn right in 500 m…. nope just here’s the road you should be on and now get there. HAHHAHHHAHAHH epic fail me thinks!! We figured it out but man we were like WTF OMG what do we do!!!!!!!!! Ahhahahha lol it was one of those moments when you look over at each other and take a great big gulp.

That night we tried out the pub/restaurant down stairs called KahunaVille it was good, really good! They made the best margaritas too so I was a happy camper. It was a pretty sweet little place to chill and drink or enjoy dinner. They had flare bartenders and well they were mighty impressive if I do say so myself Plus they gave out free drinks every time they did a little show so that’s nice lol can’t go wrong with free booze now can you.

That night us girls headed out for what we expected to be a wild night of drinking and partying complete with soar feet from dancing a whole in the dance floor with your stilettos Yes yes we did get lots of drinks that night and I even did my first shot of Patron…. omg didn’t know it was tequila so I got really really drunk lol Wamber was donezo…. like hard core! she was dancing around on a platform with no shoes on…. hell we both were

The next day we were a little worse for wear so we made a day of sitting in the pool and the hot tub, eating ice cream and ordering the most expensive breakfast meal I have ever had. It cost us $50 to have a bowl of oatmeal with diced bananas, toast, a glass of milk, a glass of OJ and a chicken and cheese quesadilla. Yes that was ridiculous but we were in no shape to see the light of day let alone any real people. And what exactly does a $50 breakfast look like….. Here you go

The long soak in the hot tub for about an hour did make up for the lack of food on or breakfast tray The whole reason we stayed at Treasure Island was the fact that there pool was still open. Basically all the other hotels had the pools closed for the season. Closed for the season I mean seriously! it was like 20′c there the whole time. It’s not get baked in the sun and sun tan kind of weather but that’s a decent summer day where I’m from. We made it down to the pool for the very last day that the Treasure Island pool would be open.

We headed out to Wolfgang Pucks Postrio restaurant in the middle of the Forum shops at the Venetian for a very fancy dinner. I mean this is the first time I have ever gone to a restaurant where the waiter pulls out your chair and places a napkin on your lap. I know I know I need to get out more lol it was really really nice for a change. It made me feel all important and adult like I ordered a fresh pasta dish with a Bolognese sauce and meat balls….. yes it was to die for. Afterwards we walked around and just took in the sights. It’s rather romantic in the Venetian we thought about going for a gondola ride but they weren’t open at that time oh well something to do next time.

Our last day was spent sightseeing, we went to Fashion show mall, we walked up the one side of the strip and down the other We went out for a very nice lunch/dinner at the Cheese cake Factory which I had never been to. It wasn’t too shabby if I do say so myself. Unfortunately though we didn’t leave enough room for any cheesecake at the end but something told me that after the exuberant amount and type of food we ate all weekend we didn’t need it

We made sure to make a wish and throw our loose change into the fountain hoping for some good luck before we went out again later that night.

We decided that we couldn’t leave Vegas without doing some gambling, even though neither of us are big gamblers. We though why not try the slots lol so of course which slot machine out of the billion and a half that were there did I choose to loose my money at? lol the playboy one lol hahahahah yes we snuck a pick of me gambling even though your technically not allowed to take pics of you gambling lol ooopsie we broke the rules

We even took in a show when we were there on our last night. We went to see Cirque De Sole’s Mystere at Treasure Island. It was truly amazing it was my first cirque show ever and I definitely want to go see more now The stage broke into three different pieces that could move independently from the rest and they had all sorts of cool trapezes, trapolines, teeter taughters that they bounces, jumped and spun around. The costumes were breath taking to say the least.

We were a tad bit tired before the show though after a long day of walking about and such so we gave the oxygen bar a whirl just to see what the fuss was all about. LOL after laughing at each other for a few minutes at first we settled right in and relaxed. And you know what…. 20 minutes later, complete with a drink, a back massage and a neck massage we were all set and wide awake. I mean like literally not tired at all. Which was amazing considering when we sat down I couldn’t’ stop yawning to save my life

Needless to say this was a weekend of first…. a lot of firsts My first girls vacation away, my first shot of patron, my first vip guest list without cover or waiting , my first time dancing in my bare feet at a club, my first time eating out at a classy 5 star restaurant (omg so good!! Wolfgang Puks Postrio was amazing!) my first time driving in Las vegas… ok I didn’t actually do the driving part but whatever ….. first time trying out one of those oxygen bars lol, first time seeing a las Vegas show…. the list goes on and on I tell you….. first time going to Madame Tussan’s wax museum….

And yes I brought my camera everywhere with me and Wamber and I snapped snapped something like over 200 candids which will be all in my members area soon for those of you who wish to take a peak.
