Yah 80′s cartoons are the best! I use to rush home after kindergarten for lunch just to make sure I made it in time to see She-RA. And let me tell you when your 5 and you have a 15 minute walk to school it feels like forever. Running that with a book bag sure felt like a mission and a half if I do say so myself. I just love all the cheese music, weird costumes and well the rough sounding voices, epic for sure 
I only have one last thing to say before I go….. For the honour of grey skull!! I have the power!
One last thing, who can forget Jem!! dude I totally want to find a pink wig and go as Jem for halloween one of these years but I fear no one will know who I am 
oh well one year I’ll just say screw it and do it because Jem is my name!

LOL. Yeah. I know what you mean. That’s mostly how I’m familiar with “She-Ra”, “Jem”, “My Little Pony”, etc., is that I had to share with my sister. That’s how we’d end up playing things like Ghostbusters VS Barbie and stuff like that. LOL.
Actually, though, looking back it, “The Real Ghostbusters” holds up really well. In the first couple of years, especially, there’s a lot of writing that works for adults as well as kids (such as in the episode where they accidentally bust the ghosts of Christmas past, present, and future).
Captain Power is another pretty cool show, that I watched as a kid, and finally was able to get on DVD a couple months ago. Like with “Ghostbusters”, a lot of it still holds up surprisingly well.
Interesting side note, both of those shows had J. Michael Straczynski, the man who would later create the sci-fi series “Babylon 5″, as one of the head writers.

hahah I use to do the same with my older brother
except when he got mad at me he use to rip their heads off 
my dad would stick them back on but they never looked right after that. That and for some reason her really loved to chew on their feet so my barbies always had mangled feet that the little Barbie shoes would never fit on again. Needless to say I grew up kind of hating my older brother 
we patched things up as we got older but then we had a bit of a falling out. We are slowly getting back to being friends, it’ll happen eventually but I think neither of us are in a place in our lives where we require each other as friends so bro and sis it is 
Besides it’s weird when I was single and he kept trying to set me up with all his friends…. and then make fun of me for dating all his friends

It’s so funny to me, how alike we are, Katie. I’ve never really had the best relationship with my sister, either. In our case, growing up, she was the cheerleader type, who had tons of friends, and all that. I, on the other hand, was always more shy/quiet, content to lock myself away with some “Star Trek” or whatever to watch. Into adulthood, we’ve never really drawn any closer, either.
